How do I set up my eSIM on other Android phones?
Last updated October 14, 2026
The exact menu path varies by manufacturer, but the steps are the same: find the SIM/eSIM settings, add an eSIM, and scan the QR code from your setup email.
Phones from OnePlus, Oppo, Xiaomi, Motorola, Sony, and others support eSIM on most recent models. Look in Settings for one of: Connections > SIM manager; Network & Internet > SIMs; Mobile network > eSIMs; or SIM cards & mobile data > eSIMs.
Tap "Add eSIM" (or similar) and choose to scan a QR code.
Point your camera at the QR code in the setup email (open on a different device).
Confirm and label the line, and set the new eSIM as default for data.
If you can't find the eSIM option
Some phones in some regions ship with eSIM disabled. Use our compatibility checker to confirm; if it's listed as supported but you can't find the option, message Globeebot.
