How do I set up my eSIM on Samsung Galaxy?

Last updated October 14, 2026

Open Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM, then scan the QR code from your setup email.

Samsung Galaxy phones from the S20 onwards support eSIM. The path is consistent across recent One UI versions.

  • Have the setup email open on a separate device (or use the single-phone option below).

  • On your Galaxy: Settings > Connections > SIM manager > Add eSIM.

  • Tap "Scan QR code from service provider" (wording varies by model).

  • Hold the QR code in the camera frame — it detects automatically.

  • Confirm the prompts, name the line, and set the data line to the Globeelink eSIM.

Set up on the same phone

If you only have one phone, open the setup email on it, save the QR image, then in SIM manager choose "Enter activation code" and paste the code from the email.

Older and budget Galaxy models

Phones older than the S20 generally don't support eSIM (a few exceptions like the Fold and Z Flip). Some A-series budget phones don't either — our checker will confirm.
